DEWARS 3B PRINTING
We helped Dewars realize their vision to create a campaign that showcases 80,000 highlander bees crafting honey for the company’s new liquor. Dubbed as ‘3B printing’, the honey printing project uses scientific and design expertise to explore and show how the key ingredient is made.
When art needs to meet science to create an incredible installation.
The process for the 3B printing project started as a collaboration between creatives and beekeepers. To begin the honeycomb manufacturing process, the bees were provided with custom fabricated casings that mimics their natural environment. Finally, we transformed a 2000 SF warehouse into a honeybee playground, merging the natural and the synthetic reflecting the intertwined world of finely crafted spirits. From concept to fabrication we created a spatial environment revealing the secret lives of bees.
